FTYCMA

FTYCMA is the Florida Two-Year College Mathematics Association. We are the Florida affiliate for AMATYC (American Mathematics Association of Two-Year Colleges).

Our name does not follow the same pattern as other affiliates because we were founded before our parent organization. FTYCMA was founded in 1966. When AMATYC became a national organization representing the same values and mission as FTYCMA, we decided to adopt AMATYC as our national parent organization.

FTYCMA represents the interest of two-year college mathematics curriculum with professional development opportunities throughout the year. FTYCMA is your organization as we represent the interests and issues of two-year college mathematics.
